Today we walk the last few kilometres across the plain of Aubrac. We arrive at the small town Aubrac, an Historic Monument declared by UNESCO, where there were a pilgrims hospital in the twelfth century. We leave this town behind and we begin a descent into the Lot valley.
The stage ends in Saint-Côme-d’Olt. It is a medieval village classified as “one of the most beautiful village of France” and whose church has a”flamed” Bell, a rarity in France. The Lot River, a tributary of the Garonne, passes by Saint-Côme-d’Olt.
